WitchAven - a first-person action shooter, which combines mechanics from different genres, for example, from role-playing adventures and fantasy. The project was developed in the mid-1990s on the BUILD engine on which many classic franchises were made. The game uses pseudo-dimensional textures, creating the illusion of the surroundings. The main hero of the project, which in the future received a continuation, is the knight named Rodoval, which is in the service of Lord Verkapaperon, which rules the kingdom of internship. He gets a serious task associated with the destruction of an evil witches, which lives in his fortified citadel with many monsters. In addition to a single game, there is a local multiplayer that supports participation 16 people.

The protagonist has an indicator of experience, and the need to pump new abilities to obtain advantages over numerous rivals of different types. Raising a new level, the virtual protéget receives an increase in damage, health and armor. Also, all these indicators can be improved by finding stronger equipment during your own trip. Gronoval has a skill to use magic spells, such as: fright, frost, night vision, flight, fireball, strength arrow and several others. Combining skills and blows with weapons, the gamer causes more damage and increases the efficiency and speed of passage.
