Initially, the gamer can choose a group consisting of 5 characters, but soon there will be more. Each hero has separate characteristics, for example, there are fighters, cooks, doctors, diplomats. It is important to choose all who can help in the process and evenly distribute forces. Mission can be performed by any available way. The path to peaceful existence will be long and difficult, and it is not only long distance. In the process, the group will have to encounter other survivors. These are armed soldiers, marauders, gangsters, robbers who have launched hands due to military chaos. Lack of products, lawlessness, medical drugs leads people in panic. In the process, the player constantly have to make a choice, for example, to help the wounded, giving the last medicines, pick it up or leave to die robbing. In addition, it may be a trap, where a person is not healthy at all, and its accomplices hide to rob the wards gameim.

Fight in the game also need a lot, fighting from enemies by any available methods. Step-by-step fights, where the strikes are applied alternately by the company of rivals. On a two-dimensional map, different dots signs are displayed, where there are quests and useful resources. Each grouping is indicated by a moving icon, and all unexplored places are hidden by the fog.
