In The Occupation, we show as a journalist investigating a new law that speaks of the Union, but at the same time - he violates the civil liberty of the British population. Adventure detective shows us the events of 1987, immediately after the terrorist attack, which killed 23 people. In this game there is no health care scale or energy. The game has the only form of punishment for simple or incorrect actions - we are sent to understand the nearest police station, where we lose 15 minutes of playing time that could spend on obtaining new information.

In the game itself you can choose: Will you convey to the government or vice versa, calm people because the new law is accepted exclusively in order to exist in the British Empire in equal rights. The gameplay is that you constantly interviewed people 1 to 1. The biggest enemy of your character is time. If you do not have time to give a note in the newspaper, then people simply ignore the new law by accepting it completely.

Developers tried to make a strong narration of a person who fights for ordinary people. Despite the fact that the protagonist has good intentions, most people are negatively configured against him. You can say more: people will complain about him to the police after each interrogation.

It is possible that the Occupation is the first example in history where social engineering is presented in this form - the most realistic, in relation to the life experience. In this game, the social and psychological problems of the population are revealed, the developers assume this responsibility.
