Necronomicon: The Dawning Of Darkness

Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness - Quest based on the works of Howard Lovecraft. The player manages William Stanton, who receives a mysterious black prism from his friend Edgar Oceedly. Soon the main character visits Dr. Eglton, concerned about the state of the psyche of Edgar. William begins the investigation to learn more about the artifact, and understand the reasons for the strange behavior of a friend. The gameplay is a wandering along the labyrinths of the port town and corridors of buildings. On the way there are townspeople with which you can start a conversation. In inventory there are slots allocated for documents and alchemical substances. The latter will be useful to solve some mysteries. Movement is carried out with the mouse. The player switches between the screens of gloomy and dark locations. Outdoor reigns cloudy weather, and the rooms are clogged with a witchcield attribute. Also, the hero will see corpses and monstrous monsters popping out of darkness.

The plot is presented through diaries, letters and videos with dialogues. The first half of the game contains light inventory puzzles - the search for the necessary items and characters for interaction. Next begin more complex and long-playing puzzles, calculated on attentive and patient gamers. This includes the "book" quest requiring dozens of racks to find foliants for a librarian. Each book contains a reference to a new one, and the task chain is built.
