Directly fights occur overlooking the side, which creates a feeling of two-dimensionality. Mechanics taken from the Gogalkov genre are used, which creates absolutely unique play situations in each, separately, passing.

Single-user campaign focuses on stories about life, love difficulties and philosophical sublists. Each move on the global map, it costs the character under construction one year of its existence on the planet. The gamer has to productively carry out the life cycle of one virtual protege to open new territories on procedurally generated maps, find their own soulfives to create offspring and happy family life. After the death of the initial character, the player receives control over the heir and continues the cases started by the first protagonist.

Selective 6 possible ways of development in the game "Generations of heroes": Growth in the direction of force, research, love, glory, wisdom and wealth. All of them are distinguished by events that will occur and solutions.
