Player chooses his place in the world. You can become a nobleman and get hundreds of fame glasses. The squire will better own a weapon, and the hunter will start his way in the Northern Kingdom. In addition to biography, the characteristics are configured: 4 main (intelligence, charisma, strength and dexterity), 24 game and 6 possession of weapons. Parameters are hampered with raising level.

Each character at the beginning of the Mount game & Blade: Hero's story gets a horse. Battle of riding - Separate battle type. The rider turns off strikes on full of chance and changes the weapon without slowing down. The enemy can be like a penny and a knight on a horse. The map shows 18 cities and many castles with villages. Over the walls of the fortress, the commander leave army for rest. In the villages there are mercenaries for recruitment, food and additional quests.

In the inventory there are 4 slots for weapons and 4 under armor. The first category includes swords, shields, crossbows. The second includes gloves, helmet, chain chains and boots. The weight and dimensions of the equipment affect the speed of movement and maneuverability in battle.
