Home Wars combines genre features of action, shooter and sandbox. The goal of the game is simple - do not allow the enemy to capture controversial territories and return the lands captured by the enemy earlier. But the hordes of Zhukov and Tarakanov speak as invaders, toy soldiers are fighting in the valiant army, and large-scale battle fields are located in separate rooms of the same house.

But the threat can not be underestimated: insects constantly evolve, accumulate food reserves and improve their strategic objects (nelezda), where new combat beetles are preparing.

Despite the obvious humorous orientation of the game, Home Wars is a serious project offering a real military campaign against beetles. There are two modes in the game: the tactical in which the command is required to carry out the subordinate (from the management of the General Staff, the purchase of military equipment and espionage behind the enemy) and the combat. In the latter it is possible to switch to the view from the first person and participate in the battle as a ordinary soldier.
