Dark Reign + Expansion is a mini-collection, which includes an original game and addition to it. The project refers to the RTS genre. The plot tells about the struggle of two sides: Imperium and Freedom Guard. Expansion adds new maps and a couple more factions: Shadowhand and Xenites. Taitle Scientific Fantastic Setting.

The project itself is also known as Dark Reign: The Future of War. And her addon is found called Rise of the Shadowhand. The gameplay is fully accustomed for isometric strategies for those years. Here you have to build buildings on the basis, to produce units, dispose of defense. In the game only 2 resources - water and "Taelon". They must be mined to obtain loans. Special units can pollute water sources so that the enemies could not get the liquid.

Each grouping has unique combat units. One of the features of the project is to disguise the infantry and hide it under the ground. And all the parties actively use suicides, and they do it in different ways. For example: "Free Guard" sends to death bonuses-volunteers, and "Imperium" captures enemy soldiers and zombies them, turning into Kamikaze. Another product is distinguished by the possibility of stealing the enemy with spies of technology for the production of weapons and equipment or build buildings. This not only deprives individual enemy units of advantages, but also allows you to improve your own army. In addition, it allows you to set a detail model of behavior of each fighter.
