Cossacks 2 - continuation of the franchise that has received many innovations and a management faction comparing with the first part. The player can lead Egypt, Russia, Austria, Prussia, France and England. Gameplay is now more focused on realism and authentic components of that time. You can only produce resources in settlements or remote points from the main city.

The villages are captured, for this you will need to kill all the protection and bring troops to the main structure to replace the control point to your side. Peasants mining wood and stone, and the remaining 4 types of resources (food, coal, gold and iron) are produced in settlements. The increase in the army is carried out in the same way as in the first part. The outcome of the battles affects not only the number of army, but also the fighting spirit of the wards, shooting, requiring long-term recharging, fatigue, terrain and relief.

Types of infantry in COSSACKS 2:

  • Musketeers are the main warriors, because they are able to attack on distant and near distances, having relatively inexpensive cost and content.
  • Grenadiers - a special type of soldier with muskets. Can throw the structure with grenades, or to inflict damage at once to several rivals standing nearby.
  • Events - similar to snipers, have an increased attack and shoot at long distances.
  • Znamers, officer and drummer - units that enhance the moral spirit and giving bonuses to the closest soldiers.
  • Cavalry - Applies Balashi, Sabls and Peaks, or Karabina, Pistols and Runs as a firearm.
  • Artillery - includes a heavy and lightweight cannon, as well as a warmness and horse forefront to increase the speed of movement.
