FIFA 09 - Football simulator that continues the famous series of games. The new part of the franchise has many advantages over its predecessors, including noticeable gameplay improvement and graphics.

The visual component of the gameplay was now added the effects of weather, affecting not only the image (for example, under the winter match, there are pairs from the mouth of the players), but also on the results of the match. In the rain, the speed of players decreases significantly, and the likelihood that the ball is stuck in a puddle increases from the rain intensity. In addition, now the spectacle in the stadium can be admired at different times of the day - the day, in the evening, at sunset or even at night.

Serious changes touched and calculating the strength of football players. Each movement is now a separate process, with a number of parameters (weight, player's growth, its level of skills), on which the success of its execution depends. Such calculations allow the element of the surprise to the gameplay, which brings the situation to reality and causes the gamer to truly "hurt" for his team.

The players controlled by the player will also not remain indifferent to what is happening. Cinematographic scenes of their exit or care are now supplemented by their emotional reactions (discontent or happiness) and even the response of viewers who will celebrate the decisive goal.
