The gameplay in The Dream of Yourself is not distinguished by some special mechanics. The user is inside a huge tunnel, seemingly resembling person's insides. The walls are overflowing yellow-red shades and become brighter as the amount of light increases in the frame. The task in such a situation is to move forward, constantly trying to find a new passage or branch not to stop. But everything is not as simple as it seems, and from the first minutes, the gamer will face the first opponents. These are huge human eyes, which move through the tunnels on a predetermined route. If the user encounters them, it will lead to instant death and restart of the entire game. Therefore, in order not to stop in your promotion and maintain the usual pace, you should go to the side in places where there are recesses. So you can wait until "Residents" go to a new circle and calmly continue. In the future, no less strange things will appear on locations (for example, a huge foot, moving along a predetermined route). These and other things will interfere with the character to get to the destination point.
