In Lost Roads there are 2 game modes. Normal Mode is a walking simulator with a flashlight. The protagonist gets into a time loop and trying to get out of it. He walks along the corridor, where something changes with each circle. To escape from this place, you need to solve one puzzle. It is built on the door opening in the right order.

Challenge Mode adds to the gameplay elements of Adventures and Quest. It appears a new location - house. The task is to get out of the dwelling before the timer expires. To achieve the goal it is necessary to solve simple puzzles: search for objects and apply them on the necessary objects in the correct order. This process is complicated by flashing lighting.

This is a very short project. Both entertainment takes place for 8-10 minutes. In this case, there is no full-fledged plot, like the ending. Any finale (screensaver picture, cat scene or text message) is missing. When the hero finds a way out, nothing happens. Even the return to the main menu does not happen.
