The 39 Steps

The 39 Steps - visual novel based on the novel John Bucken "Thirty nine steps". The project can be described as a book, where in the center of the gameplay there is a rapidly developing story. The plot develops exclusively on the book, so do not wait for nonlinearity or branches in the dialogues. The 39 Steps completely repeats the scene canvas of the original, visualizing each page of the novel.

In other words, you are interactive. Events develop at the beginning of the 20th century. Europe is on the verge of war. There are spies everywhere, but ordinary British still do not change the traditions and live everyday life. But the peace of the main character of Richard Hannei is disturbed when a stranger is on the threshold, begging for help. As a result, Richard turns out to be drawn into the whirlpool of events and the world conspiracy.

All characters in the game are translucent silhouettes. This is done so that the images of the heroes from books players were drawn to themselves. You have to go around 100 unique locations submitted by the streets and premises of London in the 1915 sample. Communicate with the heroes, look for quest items and collect during the passage of 25 hidden collectible items. Ian Hanmore, Greg Hemfill and Benni Yang, took part in the voice acting, and the Soundtrack worked. Campaign will take about 8 hours of real time.
