Proteus - a bright quest in which you explore the procedural generated environment. There are no special tasks or goals. The environment publishes various sounds, overlooking the tracks to each other, thereby forming an adaptive soundtrack, depending on flora and fauna. Initially, the project was created as a full-fledged role-playing game in the open world, but later the gameplay significantly changed the design vector in the direction of a walk and a contemplative quest.

Proteus locations consist of hills, trees, structures and animals, among which frogs, rabbits and t.D. Most of the time is given to the study, and not interaction with the environment. The gaming process is based on the sound palette. Soundtrack adjusts to your actions, emphasizing the moments and situations in which you are.

The game begins far from the island on which the actions unfold. Initially, it will be necessary to wade through the ocean to achieve its shores. The game is replaced by seasons, starting the spring and finishing in winter. In this regard, landscapes change significantly. You can make screenshots, creating greeting cards. There is a dynamic change of day. The transition between the seasons is carried out exclusively at night.
