In Once Upon a Timeline Unusual Tie. Unnamed main hero comes to spend his aunt Joselin. He worries that this woman who dedicated her life to science, stopped responding to his letters. Arriving in her house, the man discovered a relative of the dead lying in the puddle of blood. And when he heard a knock at the door, then hid in the device. It turned out to be a time machine. Protagonist with its help decided to learn the cause of death and prevent the death of the ingenious inventors.

The world environment varies depending on what year is now in the yard. Tistle allows you to talk to the past buildings owners and even see how they just started to build. Guy, leading an investigation, uses a tetin diary. It records the evidence received in the course of the game. Users can also make their own notes there. The hero communicates with different characters, examines locations and is constantly sent to the past or future to solve puzzles. The project itself went small, as it was done in a very short time for the contest of developers.
