MUV-LUV ALTERNATIVE is the third and final part of the trilogy. The completion of the final is designed for 50-70 hours. However, to understand the plot, it is advisable to get acquainted with the two previous games series. Namely: Extra and Unlimited.

MUV-LUV ALTERNATIVE is a visual novel, as well as two predecessors. The project uses hand drawn two-dimensional graphics in the style of anime and science fiction setting. The game takes place in the modern world, in which key historical events developed alternatively. In 1958, scientists find a reasonable form of life on Mars. 9 years later China and Canada send astronauts to the moon. But those aliens with the Red Planet interpret all cosmonauts. And already 1973, these aliens flew to Earth and began to exterminate people.

By 2001, the population of the globe is only 2.2 billion people, and many European countries are destroyed by the invaders. USSR and the United States build military bases on Alaska and Kamchatka. And these countries have a very tense relationship with Japan. The Japanese themselves built combat man-like robots, piloted with young people, and with their help, they beat off the attack of aliens. True, at the same time they lost many inhabitants and southern territories.

The plot of the tricvel starts immediately after the end of the sequel. History takes its beginning 3 years after Terker detects himself in this world. Japanese schoolboy himself lived in another dimension and did not suspect the existence of parallel realities. During this period, the young man met copies of his friends from another universe, signed up in the army and began to fight with the forces of alien aggressor. He witnessed a series of terrible events and he had to die himself. But instead of the death, the teenager is incomprehensible for himself returned in time at the very beginning of the history of the original. Protagonist decided to take advantage of this chance to prevent key characters and change the fate of all.
