A place of action becomes a mysterious mansion that exists in fact - the estate of the Caud. This territory is located in Russia, in the Tver region. Rich inner design attracted secured people, and for 19-20 century the house changed many owners. Most often, the previous owners disappeared, no one could find them.

The main hero of the story history remained the same guy as in the first part of the franchise - Max, a former employee of the special services of the Russian Federation. He investigated the loss of his own friends, while Mikhail came to one night in a dream - one of the disappeared. Misha asked for help that prompted the protagonist to go to "Caution" for detailed inspection of the terrain.

The gameplay is that the user must solve puzzles of varying degrees of difficulty in order to go further on the location and advance to the mysterious loss of people. Monsters residing in the manor prevent this. The hero can not fight with them on an equal footing, which forces it to constantly hide and act unnoticed.
