At the beginning, the system offers either to choose an existing character or create its own. In the editor, the player manually sets 7 characteristics: strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, dexterity and good luck. They affect gameplay capabilities. Parameters are set to levels - standard, corpse, very good, cool or hero.

After there is a list of additional features. This includes accelerated metabolism, resistance of chemistry, shooting cavity and other possibilities. Each ability gives a strengthening, in return to which something takes. For example, hooligan gets more power in exchange for reducing points of action. Finally, you need to choose 3 main skills. Suppose to improve the effectiveness of treatment, hacking and repair.

Fallaut's gameplay lies in movement between locations and step-by-step battles with aggressive grains, like rats and scorpions. Experience is charged for battle. After raising the level, glasses of abilities that are spent on the development of skills. The hero has an inventory where objects and other things are mined with monsters, which will be useful for further promotion.

Searches will lead the hero in abandoned asylum and cities. In settlements you can communicate with local residents. NPC will tell interesting information about the world and give side quests. Some characters can be taken with them as assistants.
