Avernum 2: Crystal Souls

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls continues the events of the previous part of the trilogy. The main character killed the cruel ruler of the surface. However, the death of Lord did not put the end of the war. Under the command of the player passes a detachment of 4 characters. There are several races: people, nephiles (similar to cats) and lizards. There are 10 types of heroes: sorcerers, soldiers, berserki, archers and others. Class selection determines the initial skills. You can master 28 skills - from the ownership of a melee weapon before first aid. There are also magical artifacts that give abilities - attacking, blessing and treating spells.

As the character undergoes the level of the character rises. Experience glasses are mined in battles. There is a step-by-step battle system - during the enemy's movement it is impossible to do anything. In the battle of heroes use weapons for different distances and magic techniques. Received damage reduces armor.

Avennum 2: The crystal souls have a big world open to study. More than 100 cities and dungeons are applied to the map. Here lives a lot of different races, distinguished by appearance and culture. The gameplay includes 3 major quests - different ways to combat strangers. Can only go one or all. The ending varies depending on the choice made. In addition to plot missions, there are side tasks that do not affect the plot - from the category "Naidi brought".
