The main character of the story is a resident of the state of Artania formed in the post-Soviet territory. The world plunged into darkness due to a terrible nuclear collapse and the emission of a huge amount of radiation in the air. Most land plots, parks, lakes and rivers have become unusable due to the concentration of toxic substances causing almost instant death in those who drink radiation water or is located near the hearth of dirty air. All this happened as a result of a large-scale world war that divided the existence of human civilization on before and after.
