The Undead King is the first part in the Age of Fear series, where 2 campaigns with versatile plot lines are on the choice. Speak for good or for evil, fighting with opponents and moving on two-dimensional locations. Gameplay combines tactical and role elements with plot turns. The project supports modding, and addons are officially produced by developers. This part, in comparison with the previous episodes, has become more complex creation with numerous interrelated subsystems.

In-game guide helps to figure out the game mechanics and simplifies the adventure. The movement system interacts with the card, units and the surrounding objects, not limited artificial grids. Strategic journey is diluted with permanent humorous moments. Create your own army of darkness or light. Choose from more than 200 original units, pump their abilities, skills and spells. Racial enmity is permissible, and some fighters will not fight in one group due to long-time conflicts.

Your success in the fights depends on the uses of skills, spells, combat traps, the use of neutral fractions and environment effects. All units who fell in battle forever remain dead, but you can choose their equipment.
