According to the story of The Ancient Labyrinth, the main character was isolated from the outside world in a mystical maze. He lost his memory and does not remember everything at all that happened soon. He has to find a way out of this ominous place, because after him he has already begun a hunting of a monster of unknown origin. There are no weapons on the location, and everything that remains is to hide in the shadows and try to overcome the monster to win a few extra minutes.

According to the style of decoration, the place resembles ancient Egypt, as they say the statues of the gods and sacred beings. From the primary items in stock only the torch that gives a limited review. The enemy will attack suddenly, and the only thing that helps identify it - the red eye, because the silhouette is almost indistinguishable in the dark. To get out, it is necessary to solve a mystery of the temple for which you need to collect magic stones and put in separate cavities. The stones themselves are crushed in the labyrinth, so the searches can be delayed. In some places, The Ancient Labyrinth needs to be used by natural landmarks. For example, at some point the thunderstorm starts, and the path will be visible only when grumbled. This adds the variability of the gameplay and makes it be on a check.
