The disappearance of books means the loss of historical events, and with them - the gradual disappearance of the whole world. In order to fix it and save the world, one of the main characters of IF begins his journey adventure, which goes beyond space and time.

Adventures occur in four different erants: the classic era of MEGA Drive, decorated in the medieval style ERA "Sega Saturn", production-thematic era "Game Gear" and, finally, the modern era "Dreamcast". The Great Library serves as the center of the game and performs many functions, such as travel between eras, shops, quests and classes change.

IF - she is from the main characters of the game. Serious and cold-blooded, only she can rally the team as a real leader. The second heroine of Hatsumi Sega - she does not remember anything except her name, but, it seems, Hatsumi is ready to show a special perseverance in an attempt to change the story.
