Stalker: Clean sky - the continuation organically continues the traditions of the original and adds a new plot, closely with it connected. The creators of the addon moved to their brainchild atmosphere of gloom, danger and hopelessness, adding additional missions, locations, and fripnels.

The action occurs after the end of the main plot of the original STALKER. In the global fashion there is a share of hardcore, and some characters show themselves from an absolute party. Here all events and actions have their own consequences, so the fate of the protagonist decides the player himself. The storyline has accommodated the events of 2011 - 2012. It all started in September, when a mercenary named Scar is taken to hold a team of environmental scientists through dangerous areas of the zone. Passing through the swamps, suddenly the release begins, as a result of which scientists are dying. Having lost consciousness, the scar is on the basis of the pure sky, whose soldiers found him.

The game has a three new locations with fogs, rains and atmospheric weather. The authors of the fashion took care of vehicles that the hero can use. A realistic weapon was also added, but the exoskels became much smaller. Groupings Freedom and debt are now pursued by other purposes, and the military has the opportunity to make full cleaning of such territories like cordon and landfill.
