Silicon Rising - a single-user shooter that combines a huge amount of a variety of mechanic, which belongs to other genres. This decision was accepted by the Indi-developers of this game in order to mostly diversify the gameplay and make it unique. For the same purpose, it was decided to create a project only for virtual reality helmets, which increase the degree of immersion in the fictional world and gives other sensations from the gameplay.

A temporary segment was chosen a distant future in which much changed relative to today's days. Human civilization fully entrusted its life with artificial intelligence, which resulted in some problems with the freedom of certain segments of the population, because neural networks are followed by each and collect data. Bunvaders against the current authorities quickly fall into the hands of law enforcement officers, and the government receives absolute power thanks to technologies.

The main hero of history is one of the rebels, which does not want to put up with the totalitarian regime of world leaders. War is underway against an incredibly technological army, which has much more powerful weapons and armor than the virtual protégé. This complicates the process of performing the tasks in front of the gamer. It is necessary to apply their tactical skills for the skillful counteraction of the enemy taking. To fight not only against ordinary soldiers, but also bosses using experimental development in the field of military affairs.
