The plot tie of the single-user campaign remained virtually no change. The gamer has to deal with the reasons that happened on the territory of the "SCP Foundation" - a place where the paranormal beings are stored, carrying the danger to all of humanity. After the protection system fails, the cameras that contained objects were open. All monsters were able to get out of their compartments, because of which the complex was emergency closed to avoid creating creatures in the open world. The user will collect notes of workers who clarify most of the events that preceded the happening, and try to find a way to leave the fund. Nonlinear game, this means that there are several endings.

The main hero of history is Benjamin Walker - a former employee of the complex. After the guidance in the workplace, the protagonist is exposed to a special medical preparation that she erases his memory for further experiments on him by scientists of this place. At the time of opening all cameras, the main character also managed to go out, after which he began to wander along the corridors in search of the way to freedom.
