Scorn

Scorn - first-person shooter with the addition of a huge number of mechanic from Horror and Adventure Games. This project gained fame in the video game industry thanks to a unique visual style, inspired by artists using fantastic realism techniques in their works. Only the appearance of weapons hints at the unusual design, because firearms are made in the form of human organs, although they use familiar bullets and powder for shots. The gameplay takes place in the otherworldly world, in which there are no allies, and all around are incredible aggressive and wish the death of the chief hero, which turned out to be an unknown way. Each location used in a single-user campaign has its own prehistory and meaning, and all of them are interconnected. Gradually unlocking new territories, the protagonist receives the updates of arsenal, armor and consumables. Each thing, assembled in the main character inventory, is becoming great value, because the cartridges, aid kits, and so on, have a property quickly end. It forces the playing gently approach the spectacle spent and other consumables. The game "Shoot" does not have the usual recorded cat-scenes to which the player does not have any influence. This project does not select the control of the protagonist not for a second, so even in interactive inserts, the gamer must remain alert and look at both so as not to miss something important or not to be trapped.
