Quake Live - multiplayer first-person shooter, a little earlier called Quake Zero. Many cards were transferred from Quake III and Team Arena. Players fight with each other on a variety of arons. At the beginning of the match, all participants are issued only two types of weapons: Machinegun and Gauntlet.

Other types of weapons depend on location. They can be chosen at levels, as well as additional supplies. Total 10 types of weapons are presented, among which Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, Lightning Gun, Plasmagun, BFG-10K and others. Players fight in 14 different modes. Some of them can be played with two modifications: TURBO and VAMPIRIC DAMAGE.

Pick 4 types of armor, differing in color. Depending on the coloring, protection increases a certain amount of armor. On locations there are 4 types of first-aid kits acting on the same principle as armor. You can select bonuses such as Battle Suit, Haste, Invisibility, Quad Damage and Regeneration. 5 single items available: Flight, Invulnerability, Kamikaze, Medkit and Personal Teleporter.

Main QUAKE LIVE modes:

• Duel - two players compete with each other;
• Free for all - Dezmatch, where everyone fights for itself;
• Team Deathmatch - command game, the essence of which is the same as in the previous mode;
• Capture The Flag - capture the enemy flag to be brought to the base;
• Clan Arena - a match without respaun, allowing to use almost all weapons;
• Domination - It is necessary to hold strategic points;
• RACE - Sepage Matches, where you need to compete.
