The protagonist does it in order to bring the light to return, because everything around has long been in darkness. Virtual Protege wants to deal with the reasons for the disappearance and try to restore everything as it was. This prevents the antagonist - the queen of the night, the owner of the mysterious tower.

Passing includes a huge number of puzzles that need to be solved to gain access to the following locations. Most of the presented tasks use the game light and shadow, which requires logical thinking and smelting to find solutions. Also, levels are populated by crowds of a variety of creatures (slugs, spiders, flying perfumes) and traps literally in each wall.
