Need for Speed ​​Payback Action unfolds in the city of Fortuna Valley, where you can move freely. The open world has the largest area in the history of the series. The plot branch will represent three playable characters:

• Tyler Morgan - Specialist in Drag Racing;
• Sean Makalister - Professional Drifter and Racer off-road;
• Jessica Miller - a mechanic girl who can effectively disappear from police persecution.

In addition to the protagonists, there are three more secondary characters: Ravindra Chadhry, Lina Navarro and Marcus Wir, actively participating in the plot.
