Jagged Alliance 1 Events unfold on metavir. On the island, juice from a rare plant is mined, able to help fight cancer, even in later stages. The main story begins with the partner of Jack named Lucas captured most of the territory, while having received the study and many plants collected. The remaining money of the main character is leaving the military commander, whose task is to return control over the island to re-investigate the properties of the plant and help people in need. The player will be in the role of the head of the fighting. It is necessary to control the detachment of mercenaries, moving along dangerous territories, reclining them and fighting with opponents.

The user can hold control over different locations bringing more passive income. Construction of processing plants and juice collectors will make more money. Funds will be allowed to hire more soldiers and pay them under the contract. Collectors work in factories and can not fight. Guards - separate units that protect the limited region and reinforcement. External market - the main source for which the amount of revenue is determined. The user is not able to influence this value, since it depends only on the conjuncture.
