Hydrophobia is an action game that can be easily skipped, as it does not possess outstanding achievements. But still we advise you to pay attention to it.
The plot of the game is tied at the idea of a sunset of human civilization. Due to the overpopulation of the Earth and its pollution, people will not be able to live on the surface soon, so it was decided to move to the oceans. They built the real miracle of engineering thought - a ship that hosts a whole city with a population and giant buildings.
The main purpose of humanity is to clean up pollution and return to measured life, but not everyone follows the script. In the world of the game there is a radically configured grouping, the members of which see the only way to solve the problem - the destruction of most of the population.
The gameplay achievements are not here, so it's not worth talking about them. The player has to play for the engineer Kate Wilson, and undergo linear levels with puzzles. Nothing special.
But this is what really deserves your attention, so it is physics of liquids. For this project, a specially created engine was used, which was supposed to be realistic to calculate water physics and beautifully draw it. Whether he coped with his task? Quite exactly - yes. Playing in Hydrophobia, you can see the behavior of the liquid in all our glory, how believable they are implemented. If you drop a short scene part and nontrivial gameplay, the game is quite average, but pleasant visual.
