Hidden & Dangerous 2: Saber Squadron

Hidden & Dangerous 2: Saber Squadron - addition to the second part of the eponymous series of games leading its beginning since 1999. Compared to the previous game, the project got RPG mechanics, namely large-scale maps, the ability to choose the method of making a mission and the inventory window.

As before, the plot action occurs in the conditions of World War II. The player is the commander of a special purpose of SAS, consisting of 4 fighters having various skills and characteristics. During the passage, the gamer will bring to visit various points of the Earth - from Burma to Norway and perform a variety of tasks, among which the rescue of prisoners of war, sabotage and the destruction of enemy objects.

In addition to the original, in the "special detachment" there is a cooperative mode, for the sake of it, the developers have added 8 new multiplayer cards and 9 additional locations for a single campaign.

Unfortunately, the creators of the 2nd part of the game and the addon could not reveal to the end of the work of the SAS division. This is due to the fact that most of their operations fell on post-war time. Also, unlike the original, several serious historical errors associated with the dates and the applied weapons are admitted to the second part.

In hidden & Dangerous 2: Saber Squadron Changes practically did not affect the technical part. However, the opponent's response was improved and new weapons units were added. Maps in the addon worse than in the original. Often you can find unclosed rooms or drawn doors that do not perform any role.
