The plot unfolds in 1941. In the midst of World War II, Captain David Sterling formed a special division of the UK Air Force (SAS), where the best soldiers were. The player assumes the leadership of one of these detachments. Going to the next task, the player's team turns out to be shot down over enemy positions. The task of passage is to bring the soldiers from the opponent's rear as well and unharmed.

Before each mission, Games have the opportunity to choose 4 soldiers with different skills and characteristics in your detachment. Available to 40 Commandos available. In addition to the characters, you need to choose the necessary weapons and equipment. At the start of the mission, a briefing is held, on which the goal and enemy position are designated. Among the goals can be indicated:

• sabotage;
• capture or save prisoners;
• search for information;
• Destruction of strategic objects and others.

During the mission, the player can control the detachment or each soldier separately with the help of voice commands and indications of the direction of movements on the tactical map. Creators Hidden & Dangerous added the ability to control transport, which brings even more diversity to the gameplay.

In total, during the passage of the gamer, we will bring to Italy, Yugoslavia, Germany, Norway, the North Sea and Czechoslovakia. Despite some assumptions from developers, the game retains the historical accuracy and realism of the fighting.

Thanks to the techniques for that time, the graphics and musical accompaniment, the developers managed to create a spectacular product that gives the effect of full dive, and the detailed weapons and military equipment make this project even more realistic.
