The player is sent by a million years to the future, where human civilization reached unprecedented heights of technological development. One thing remains unchanged - thirst for profit. Large companies controlling the whole world are fighting for the right to own the mysterious material by Ikarium, whose owner of which will become the richest and powerful in the Universe. The gamer is invited to try on the image of a fearless mercenary, who sent to the search for Ikarium, so that they could not take possession of greedy rich.

The gameplay is filled with battles with monsters and robots, as well as solving various puzzles. As the gamer must improve armor and weapons of his character, as well as improve its characteristics.

Only 3 classes of characters available for the game: a flanist, paratrooper with a machine gun and a girl with a plasma rifle. Each class has 4 parameters and 20 skills that need to develop. Playing in Greed: Black Border can be both alone and in co-pass mode.
