In Geneshift, you can play both against the opponents of bots with well-developed AI and against friends on the network. In the latter case, it becomes especially interesting to continue the game even after death. The player who died from other people's hands, instead of boring waiting for the beginning of a new half, can be in zombies and start collecting resources that will be useful in the next battle, or try to kill survivors. Progress in the development of its own character is possible at the expense of testing. Unusual murder (for example, in the air) or a cunning trick allows you to unlock previously inaccessible unique items.
