Freelancer - adventure strategic video game from a third party. Actions unfold at the end of the30th century, during the times of huge discoveries and practically endless technologies in humans. The main character is gaining a team and sends to capturing worlds and planets, arranging war, both on land and in open space, with the help of huge spacecraft.

The gameplay is open, the user can move freely via expanses of huge location. On certain planets, the protagonist can take a task from secondary characters, buy their necessary things, in the form of improvement for a ship or weapon. You can bargain and sell your own things, or deceive and not pay for the purchase. Usually after that the shootout begins, but the hero must win, or die.

In Freelancer, a player can hire allies and partners, they fight together with a protagonist, and also apply a good damage in battles. Space battles - half of all gameplay, they have a huge scale, and the quality and modifications of the ship usually always solve the outcome of the battle.
