In the continuation of 3 modes available: adventure, classic and arena. There was an opportunity to include automatic protection against enemy attacks. Freedom Planet 2 has 4 heroines:

• Lilac - Dragon Girl, the fastest of the whole four;
• Neera is a frosty warrior who can turn enemies into icebreakers;
• Carol - Wild Cat, which is the strongest character;
• Mila - a dog who knows how to use his ears in the quality of the glider to choose them in the air.

All warriors are available from the very beginning. They can attack opponents in the near battle, run, jump, accelerate, swim under water, rolled out with a ball and perform other actions. Their characteristics (strength, speed, armor and everything in such a spirit) can be enhanced by various potions. Also on the heroine allowed to wear mascots and amulets, giving different strengthening.
