Escape From Violet Institute is a game with very unusual mechanics. It is a shooter in which you can switch between 2D between 2D and 3D overview. At the same time, in the first case, the game will look like a simple pixel platformer, and in the second - it has a rather pleasant graphics and a good detail. First, it seems just a fun feature, but after a while with the help of switching will have to solve interesting riddles and survive in the world inhabited by terrible creatures. At the sight of the first person, a feeling of horror is added.

According to the plot, the main character is an employee of the institute, part of which is deep underground. As a result of research, a catastrophe occurred, which released monsters from other measurements. And now the protagonist should get to the surface, beaten from many unusual and very cruel creatures. However, due to the consequences of the incident, he himself can periodically fall into other worlds.

2D mode will enjoy the arcade shooting and will allow you to learn the level in the context. Switching to 3D allows you to find cartridges, first aid kits and records, as well as find hidden passages. But playing at this time is much worse, the enemies look really scary and can sneak from the back. Pretty Hardcorn game, there are no fast saves or checkpoints. Save only through the menu, so you have to play very carefully. It should be understood that Escape from Violet Institute is an experimental indie project, designed to demonstrate unusual gaming mechanics. As a result, there are quite a few bugs in the game, but in general they do not interfere with completing the passage.
