Gameplay is built on dynamic shootings using plasmids (local analogue of magic). Delta can use a fire man and plasmid at the same time. The main weapon of the daddy protrudes the bur, which is most effectively used in the near battle. It can be pumped with warnic.

The hero in its path meets both many new characters and acquaintances on the first game of personalities: Bridget Tennbaum, August Sinclair, Carlson Fiddle, Grace Holloway and many others. Since the protagonist is dressed in a deep-water surprise, several levels will be available, where you will need to make several walks on the bottom of the ocean. On the way there will be mollusks that produce Adam. From the innovations, in addition to the cardinal change of the protagonist, the player will see a new version of the opponent of a splice and a large sister - a matured girl who is more unsuitable for collecting a precious resource.

Also, as in the original game, the fate of sisters will remain. Significantly simply simplified the process of hacking turads, security panels, safes and vending machines. From now on, this is a simple mini-game where you need to combine moving arrows. Bioshock 2 is an excellent continuation of the predecessor showing some events from the new angle and other eyes, while maintaining all the recognizable features of the original, up to the rebirth in the nearest vita chambers.
