Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat is a large-scale modification to the famous Battlefield 1942, dedicated to the Persian Gulf War. The actions of this fashion occur 60 years later the original game and describe the real military conflict. The success of the team depends on the capture of strategic points, near which the most fierce battles flared up. Communication resources are determined by tickets whose number decreases after each killed soldier or destroyed technology.

The game has undergone significant changes. There are new locations resembling the Middle East. Added many weapons, artillery, military equipment, including modern aircraft and helicopters. More classes of characters, and differences between them became much tangible. Despite the apparent obsolete graphics, it is still interesting to play, but with this game any computer will handle.
