Awe of Despair tries not to resemble typical indie horror. Here you do not need to collect and read endless notes. There is no magazine in the game. And from enemies can not only run away, but also give them.

First, the gamer explores residential complex. Later he will be given to walk in the morgue, abandoned hospital, gloomy catacombs and the likeness of the Palace. Parts of the cards alternate with each other suddenly, because of what happens is like a terrible dream.
